Setting the beach on Pyrrha

On Monday, I had the pleasure of working with Ash, who had the idea of shooting a hybrid of Cosplay with a beach / bikini theme. The character was Pyrrha from the anime series RWBY.

For the shoot we headed to Redcliffe beach in the Northern parts of Brisbane. The weather was perfect for the shoot, without a cloud in the sky. The bonus was heading to the beach on a hot summers day. A good chance to shoot and cool down at the same time.

At the beginning of the shoot Ash was a little on the nervous side, not having done a bikini shoot before. However, as the shoot progressed she was getting into the swing of things and making suggestions for shots as we went along. Which is something I love and actually encourage those who I shoot to do. As it becomes more of a joint project.

At the end of the shoots she loved what she saw on the back of the camera, and even more so the final edits from the shoot.

Below are some shots from the shoot.
